Abstract

The quality of sleep has several benefits for our health, including aging with quality of life and good brain function. After the age of sixty, there is a greater fragmentation at the time of rest. In addition, most elderly people have comorbidities that interfere with the sleep period, such as chronic diseases, visual changes, and cognitive problems. Thus, quality rest is essential for the consolidation of attention and memory in the elderly.
